SHERIFF-AI EDR is not yet available for download or purchase — it is in pre-launch, and the only thing you can currently do is join our waiting list. Section 0 below governs that. Sections 1 onward describe the terms that will govern your use of the SHERIFF-AI EDR software, agent, and admin console (together, the “Service”) once it becomes available — by installing or using the Service at that point, you agree to them. If you are accepting on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you have authority to bind it.
0. Waiting list
Joining the waiting list is free and does not create a licence, purchase, or any obligation on either side. We may email you about availability, pricing, or launch timelines. Joining does not guarantee access, a specific price, or a specific launch date. You can remove yourself at any time via the unsubscribe link in any email from us, or by contacting us directly.
1. Licence
Subject to these terms and your chosen plan, we grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to install and use the Service to protect devices you own or are authorised to manage. You may not resell, sublicense, or reverse-engineer the Service except where the law expressly permits.
2. Acceptable use
- Deploy agents only on devices you own or are authorised to monitor.
- Do not use the Service to surveil individuals unlawfully.
- Do not attempt to disrupt, overload, or circumvent the Service's controls.
- Comply with all laws applicable to your monitoring and data handling.
3. Human-in-command
The Service assists, explains, and recommends. Except for playbooks you explicitly configure to auto-approve, it does not execute actions without a human approval. You remain responsible for the actions you approve and their effect on your systems.
4. Fees
Nothing is currently for sale — there are no fees today. Once paid plans launch, they will be billed per the pricing shown at purchase (for example, per device per month, in KES). Prices, ranges, and tiers may change with notice. Taxes, where applicable, are your responsibility.
5. Availability & no warranty
We work to keep the Service effective, but no security product can guarantee detection or prevention of every threat. The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. You are responsible for maintaining backups and a broader security posture.
6. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for loss of data, profits, or goodwill arising from use of the Service. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the fees you paid for the Service in the preceding twelve months.
7. Termination
You may stop using the Service and remove the agents at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for material breach of these terms. On termination, the licence ends and you must cease using the Service.
8. Provider
The Service is provided by Pisoque Technologies.
9. Regulatory status
Pisoque Technologies is not yet registered with the Office of the Data Protection Commissioner (ODPC) under Kenya's Data Protection Act, 2019. Registration is in progress.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Kenya, and the courts of Kenya have jurisdiction over any dispute, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections in your jurisdiction.
